We are a South African, Cape Malay, immigrant, women-owned, multimedia news outlet available online and in print.
Our owners are Mona Davids and Mymoena Kalinisan-Davids, mother and daughter.
We are the only weekly African newspaper in the United States. We cover Local, National, and International News for the Diaspora.
LittleAfrica News is here to deliver hard-hitting news and cover stories relevant to our communities.
Our newspaper is distributed by National Distribution Alliance and is available in over 400 locations in New York.
Our main goals are:
- To keep the African Diaspora informed of local news and events that impact our communities
- Provide resources and information to the African diaspora community — Education, Health, Housing, Immigration, Social Services, and Housing
- Encourage political and civic engagement in the African diaspora
- Strengthen partnerships and cultivate relationships — cultural, business, investment, tourism — between Africans and the African diaspora
- Promote bilateral trade, investment, business, and tourism opportunities between Africa, the African diaspora, and the US.
